Rita Witherly is the
President of MoZen Inc. A company that works with business owners
to increase cash flow, decrease costs, increase productivity and
profitability. Rita is a seasoned business
advisor with a strong background in Business Coaching, Leadership
Development and Organization Development/Effectiveness (OD/OE) with a
proven record of developing and implementing global and domestic
solutions designed to impact business drivers, develop employees at all
levels and improve customer satisfaction. Rita has thirty years of
experience in coaching business leaders and implementing full life cycle programs
that attain results.
Rita is also an Executive Associate of The Institute for Independent
Business and donates time to local businesses that may also have similar
needs. Additionally Rita volunteers her time to support the
Organization Development Network of New Jersey.
Prior to
starting MoZen Inc, Rita was the Director of Organizational Development and the Six Sigma/lean Deployment Leader implementing Organization Development business initiatives across
forty-four Cendant companies worldwide. Rita created business solutions
from concept to implementation. Cendant was a primary provider in the hospitality, real estate, travel and vehicle services sectors. Cendant
was a leading architect of franchise systems and an innovative provider of outsourcing services to its business units including travel, real estate, mortgage origination, employee relocation, customer loyalty programs, vehicle management and fuel card services, vacation exchange services and vacation interval sales.
Rita also used Lean Six sigma methodologies and tools to help the Cendant
businesses increase organic growth, improve operational efficiencies,
solve complex business problems, save valuable resources, decrease costs,
increase profits by developing new skills and behaviors within our
current employees that dramatically impact the bottom line.
Rita’s expertise is as diverse as the field of OD and was developed in
working for Agfa a division of Bayer for sixteen years. Her core
competencies were sales, marketing, training, process improvement,
quality, improving customer satisfaction,
business and
employee assessments, learning & development, senior and midlevel
management
development,
team coaching, business analytics
/ROI metrics, process excellence, traditional/lean Six Sigma, team
building & improving team performance and project management,
consulting in the manufacturing, chemical manufacturing and
transactional/service sectors. She partnered with
senior business leaders to help them build within their businesses the
infrastructures and skills to attain their specific business goals
relating to Organization Development, Training and Six Sigma. Lean Six
Sigma is a systematic
methodology and set of business tools that are focused on achieving
significant operational and financial results and if done right do not
have to be taxing to a business' resources.
Rita has a Masters in Business (MBA), a Bachelors of Science degree
in Organizational Development and she is certified business advisor and
coach, a Master Trainer and Facilitator, a Master Black Belt and
and Executive Associate of The Institute for Independent Business.
Rita is currently the chair of the New Jersey Organization Development
Network Non-profit organization chair. She and her team support New
Jersey Non-profit organizations to better serve their clients. Additionally she is the
NNJ-ASTD V.P. of Web Technology.
Rita’s has been published in the environmental field in a number of publications and she has co-authored a book with Gary Jones of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation in Pittsburgh on the environmental solutions covering liquid effluent, volatile organic compounds and waste both hazardous and non-hazardous.
